Ekaterina Dobrotvorskaia was born in Russia to a family of musicians. She started playing violin at age five, and at age ten was accepted to the Central Music School for musically gifted children at the Moscow State Conservatory. She received her M.M. in music performance from the Moscow Conservatory in 1998, with certificates in solo, chamber, orchestral performance and also special training in music pedagogy. She has received numerous scholarships and awards and was selected by the Moscow State Conservatory to attend master classes in Russia and Europe.
She was a member of the Tempera String Quartet and was selected from an international pool of applicants to represent Russia for a competition in Melbourne, Australia. Ms. Dobrotvorskaia served as Principal Violist of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, Moscovia Chamber Orchestra and the Russian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra in Moscow. She joined the Veronika String Quartet in November of 2000. She was a Principal Violist of the PSO and an Artist-in-Residence at the Colorado State University-Pueblo for 11 years. She coaches at the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Chamber Program and Sectionals. She is currently teaching viola at the Colorado College in Colorado Springs and has been a member of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic since 2007.

Sarah started playing the violin at three years old in the Suzuki program, and at twelve began her traditional training under Olga Yanovich and Elisabeth Adkins of the National Symphony Orchestra. Sarah attended Austin College in Sherman, TX majoring in English literature and minored in art history and violin performance. She has played in the White house, the Kennedy center, and the Bosnian Embassy. She has been teaching 15 years and will teach violin performance to all ages and levels, and can use the Suzuki or the traditional methods.

John has a Bachelor of Instrumental Music majoring in string bass and minoring in cello from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater Oklahoma. He has been teaching in elementary and middle schools since 1983 and is currently teaching at several District 11 schools. He also has experience teaching the Suzuki and Traditional methods in private lessons.
